Welcome to the AT&T As you may know, AT&T acquired North State wireless assets in 2013. As part of this change, your wireless account will be transitioned into AT&T’s systems in early April 2014. We’re excited you’re part of our family! You may have questions about how this change affects you. You’ll keep your current number, cell phone and coverage. For most customers, your rate plan will stay the same. After your transition you’ll receive your wireless bill from AT&T. You’ll receive letters with details about the transition through March. We’ll also notify you once your account has transitioned.
