SBC Call Block

Call Block, also know as Call Screen in California and Nevada, lets you block some designated numbers, so you can avoid the calls you don't want. Sometimes you wish you hadn't picked up your ringing telephone. Maybe it was a telemarketer calling during your dinner, or maybe a telemarketer calling before you are even out of bed. Call Block is designed to help you avoid these unwanted telephone calls.

Customers can choose the Call Block service and block up to 10 designated local telephone numbers. Call Block allows you to block these telephone numbers even if you don't know the source of the call. When someone calls you from one of the numbers blocked by Call Block, they will hear an announcement that says you are not currently taking calls.
