The SBC Foundation supports community development initiatives that promote economic growth and assist community-based organizations in serving the needs in their neighborhoods.

In particular, the SBC Foundation supports initiatives that:

• Develop basic and intermediate technology workforce skills (e.g. technology job training programs)
• Strengthen nonprofits through effective integration of technology
• Integrate technology to improve community infrastructure
• Provide technology access and basic technology instruction, particularly to underserved communities
• Expand and develop supplier diversity
• Focus on leadership development, especially among under-represented minorities
