Senior Vice President, Construction & Engineering, AT&T Services, Inc.
Veronica Bloodworth, Senior Vice President-Construction and Engineering, is responsible for planning, design, construction and capital maintenance of the wireline and wireless network infrastructure across AT&T's national footprint, including Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. She was appointed to her current position September 2014.
Previously she served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy, AT&T Services, Inc., where she had overall responsibility for the Velocity IP (VIP) program. In this role, she laid the groundwork to begin the transformation of AT&T to an all IP/Wireless/Cloud company.
Prior to this role, Veronica was Vice President, Infrastructure Program Management, where she launched the initial LTE markets and was responsible for project managing the capital deployment plans for both the Wireline and Wireless Networks.
She also served as Vice President, Global Service Operations responsible for U-verse Network Operations, National Mobility Service Operations, VoIP Network Operations and Messaging/Network Subscriber Services.
As Vice President, Southeast Central Office Operations, Veronica was responsible for maintaining the Central Office organization as well as the legacy AT&T Outside Plant team in the 9 SE states (AL, MS, LA, GA, SC, FL, NC, TN, KY) prior to her Global Service Operations role.
Veronica has held numerous positions in Network and Finance over her 16 year career with AT&T.
Veronica is a CPA with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama and an MBA from Georgia State University.
