The new AT&T family of companies now offers a product portfolio for global, national, mid-size, regional business and federal government customers that largely features industry-leading solutions and Web-based tools from the former AT&T; it includes local access, metropolitan optical and other key services from the former SBC solution set. Transition Plans:
Single-point-of-contact account managers will be assigned as soon as possible to the largest business customers. In the interim, existing account teams will help customers — whether they were served by one or both of the companies — maximize the combined company's new solution set. Customers will not need to make immediate network or service changes, unless they want to make changes to their portfolio, such as migrating from legacy services to IP-based solutions. For those customers wishing to reap IP productivity and cost-saving benefits, company experts will work with them to jointly plan and implement service and network transitions in a staged and seamless manner.
