Overview — What the Merger Means |
With approximately 2 million small business customers, the new AT&T family of companies is a leader in meeting the communications needs of the small business market today. The combined company provides small business customers with competitively priced service packages and bundles, as well as what is perhaps the broadest array of communications services available from a family of companies, including Internet and data networking services, wireless voice and data, and local and long distance voice. For qualifying customers who choose to purchase packages or bundles of services, the new AT&T family of companies will reward them with savings. Product and service information is available online at www.TheNewATT.com.

Small business customers need to take no immediate action unless they wish to add to or change their existing service plans. Small business customers of the pre-merger AT&T and SBC companies will continue to receive service, pay their bills and seek customer service support as they always have. The new AT&T family of companies will continue to offer Connections small business bundles within the 13-state traditional SBC local service area; those bundles enable businesses to take advantage of discounts and a single bill when they add long distance, wireless and broadband DSL services to qualifying local voice packages. The new AT&T will expand availability of Connections bundles beginning in January 2006, and will continue to focus on delivering compelling new offerings for small business customers in 2006 and beyond. Customers of the new AT&T family of companies who wish to add new products and services or make other changes to their existing accounts will be notified of any new changes when they place new orders. The new AT&T name will not begin appearing on monthly bills until February 2006, or later. In the meantime, customers should continue to make payments and order services as they have in the past.
