All across the country, we remain focused on delivering broadband to as many customers as possible. Residents in most rural and remote areas where our traditional broadband service isn't available can sign up for our satellite-based broadband Internet service, called AT&T High Speed Internet, powered by WildBlue. This product offers three service packages and broadband speeds starting at up to 1.5 Mbps downstream.

Wireless home gateways add even greater value to the in-home broadband experience. And we ship thousands of home gateways every day. With a wireless gateway or home network, you can take advantage of untethered wireless connections to the Internet from multiple devices all at the same time — with the same fast speed. Home networking is available today in states in which we offer local voice service.

Our goal is to keep you connected in more places than any other provider. AT&T Wi-Fi service bridges our wireless and wired networks, giving you access to high speed Internet when you're away from home by using the nation's largest Wi-Fi network*. With AT&T Wi-Fi service, you can stay in touch at nearly 20,000 hot spot locations in the United States — including more than 7,000 company-operated Starbucks locations — and more than 80,000 hot spots in countries around the world (including company-owned and third-party roaming locations). Plus, we offer complimentary Wi-Fi service with our three higher-speed residential broadband packages, all small business broadband packages and with all AT&T U-verse offerings with high speed Internet service.
