Network Change:
Access Services

Description of Type of Changes Planned:
This Public Notice is a revision to SBC20041108L.1. The purposes of this update are to clarify that CLEC applications for physical collocation in the new CRNDCA02 central office will not be accepted prior to May 2005, and to adjust the window of time during which installation can take place.

SBC California plans to migrate all existing circuits and services from its existing Central Office, CRNDCA11, to a new Central Office, CRNDCA02, which is being built on adjacent property. This migration is triggered by the floor space exhaust of the existing building and municipal restrictions that preclude SBC California from expanding the building. A development agreement entered into by SBC California and the City of Coronado, Ca. requires the construction of a new Central Office building and the demolition of the existing CRNDCA11 Central Office by December 31, 2008. The addresses of both buildings follows:

From: CRNDCA11, 778 Orange Ave., Coronado, Ca. 92118
To: CRNDCA02, 756 Orange Ave., Coronado, Ca. 92118

The terms of the development agreement dictate the following timeline:

Description of Reasonably Foreseeable Impact of the Planned Changes:
The migration plan developed by SBC California is designed to have minimal impact on all customers served by CRNDCA11.

Part of the migration plan calls for the installation and testing of all physical collocation equipment in the new CRNDCA02 building no later than November 30, 2005. Because the circuit migration is scheduled to begin in January, 2006, failure to meet this date may cause service disruption for those customers served by CLECs. It is also necessary that all existing physical collocation equipment in CRNDCA11 continue to work until all circuits have been migrated to CRNDCA02.
