AT&T Named a Leader by Lead Analyst Firm in Telecommunications and Web Conferencing Magic Quadrants

AT&T* today announced its position as a leader in two Gartner Magic Quadrants. AT&T has been recognized in this leading analyst firm’s 2010 reports as a leader in the Magic Quadrants for U.S. Telecommunications1 and Web Conferencing.2

Gartner U.S. Telecommunication and Web Conferencing Magic Quadrant are graphical representations of the marketplaces at and for a specific time period. They depict Gartner's analysis of how certain vendors measure against criteria for that marketplace, as defined by Gartner.

According to U.S. Telecommunications Service Provider report, “leaders have a full portfolio of voice and data products across wired and wireless technologies, with frequent offerings of combined services, coupled with average to above-average service and support, focused-enterprise investment, strong sales support, competitive pricing and a driver in the market in terms of technology adoption, partnerships and on-time launches. Leaders have a strong vision that includes internal and external innovation, an eye on joint ventures and partnerships, and the ability to deliver a consistent product and message.”1

This Magic Quadrant assessed the service capabilities of 10 U.S. telecommunication service providers that offer wired, wireless or both types of services based on their ability to execute and their completeness of vision.
