Omni Hotels & Resorts announced that it has entered into a strategic agreement with AT&T* for Internet bandwidth services and other strategic offerings. Among other things, AT&T, one of the largest providers of hosted Internet access in the hospitality industry, will provide Omni Hotels & Resorts with high-quality Internet bandwidth service in more than half of their properties in the United States for use by Omni’s guest and staff. The two neighboring companies, both headquartered in the Dallas Metroplex, are in the process of providing these AT&T broadband services to guests of the service-driven luxury hotel brand.
The collaboration also gives Omni employees the ability to use AT&T’s Connect®, an enterprise-wide core business application, with integrated audio conferencing, web conferencing, and video conferencing delivered from AT&T’s global platform. AT&T Connect enables both internal and external communication from a single tool, with converged VoIP, regular/mobile and IP phone access for an easy collaboration with associates, customers, vendors and partners from the office or hotel suite.
"We are pleased to collaborate with AT&T to deliver easy, high-quality Internet bandwidth to our guests." said Richard Tudgay, Vice President, Information Technology for Omni Hotels & Resorts. "By working with AT&T, a leader in telecommunications and our neighbor in Dallas, our guests will have tremendous access to the Internet ensuring a seamless and productive experience while on the road."
As Omni Hotels & Resorts continues to grow, one of their newest properties will be in Dallas, TX. This new hotel, to open in early 2012, will include more than 1,000 guest rooms and suites. One of the first major conferences to be held at the Omni Dallas Hotel will be an AT&T event involving their legal department in 2012.
"We value our ability to deliver a quality experience for our customers, and we are excited to extend our relationship with Omni Hotels & Resorts and work together to improve guest experiences at their properties," said Holly Reed, Regional Vice President of AT&T External Affairs.
