AT&T Inc. announced today that the company will hold its 2011 annual meeting of stockholders in Little Rock. The meeting will be held at the Statehouse Convention Center at 9 a.m. Central time on Friday, April 29, 2011.
“We’re excited to welcome AT&T stockholders to Little Rock,” said Ed Drilling, AT&T state president—Arkansas. “As a native Arkansan and longtime AT&T employee, I’m proud to have this opportunity to bring people here. Arkansas has business-friendly policies and programs that encourage investment and competition, and in the past three years alone AT&T has responded by investing more than
$500 million in our wireless and wired networks in the state. Hosting the annual meeting is one more way to demonstrate our commitment to Arkansas and is a natural choice given AT&T’s strong presence here, with thousands of employees across the state.”
The meeting is open to all AT&T stockholders of record as of Tuesday, March 1, 2011.
