To address the growing demand for advanced wireless data products and services, AT&T* today announced a grand opening celebration for a new high-tech wireless store on Wilson Boulevard in Clarendon, VA.
“Our newest store in Clarendon lets customers ‘try before they buy’ today’s leading wireless devices,” said Rob Forsyth, vice president and general manager for AT&T in the greater Washington/Baltimore area. “No single cell phone or application is for everyone. It’s our job to make sure every customer makes the wireless selection and chooses the right plan to fit their wireless needs.”
The Clarendon store builds upon AT&T’s overall commitment to the region. AT&T is continuing to expand and enhance its presence in the DC metro area, ensuring consumers have convenient access to the latest in communications and entertainment services. In fact, AT&T has invested more than $775 million in its Washington, DC area wireless and wireline networks from 2008 through 2010.
Located at 3000 Wilson Boulevard, the new 3,600-square foot store store is led by industry veteran Tinu Jacobs and has a team of seven trained sales consultants who can demonstrate a wide range of products and assist both consumers and businesses with purchasing decisions, customer service and technical support. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. – 9 p.m., Sunday 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
As part of the July 8-10 grand opening celebration, consumers can check out special discounts including up to $50 off select smartphone devices. **
There are 26 AT&T company-owned stores in Northern Virginia, and AT&T’s products and services are also available at a number of authorized dealer and national retail locations.
