Latina Style Names AT&T A Great Employer For Latinas

For the 14th year, LATINA Style has named AT&T one of the best corporations for Latinas, this year ranking it No. 7 in the magazine’s 2011 Top Twelve Companies of the Year.

Women represent 40 percent of AT&T’s workforce, according to 2010 figures, of which Latinas represent 12 percent. Latinas make up 16 percent of all female new hires. The company’s diversity and inclusion practices have been recognized by numerous organizations and publications including: DiversityInc, National Minority Supplier Development Council; NAFE, the National Association for Female Executives; Hispanic Business magazine; Woman Engineer magazine, and the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, which in 2010 gave top honors to AT&T’s Hispanic employee resource group, HACEMOS.
