AT&T Opens New Retail Store in Frisco

Store Offers Hands-on, Interactive Experience

Frisco , Texas, December 08, 2011

AT&T* today announced it is opening a new  4,600-square-foot retail store in Frisco to address the growing demand for advanced wireless and wired products and services. The new store is in Stonebriar Centre Mall at 2601 Preston Road. The store is on the second floor next to the food court and above the ice skating rink.  

“This AT&T store opening in Stonebriar Mall represents a true convenience for customers and employment opportunity with a Fortune 10 company for area residents.  The thousands of Mall visitors from Collin County and beyond over the Christmas season will benefit from its presence,” said State Representative Ken Paxton.  “The extremely competitive wireless industry brings investment and employment opportunities, while providing the consuming public with products and services it will use to connect to their families, their work and their friends.”

The new retail store features a state-of-the-art, hands-on design to engage shoppers and provide a “try before you buy” service experience. Trained consultants will provide demonstrations of a wide range of products and services, including the 4G LTE Samsung Galaxy Tablet, 4G LTE HTC Vivid, Apple iPhone 4S, 4G LTE AT&T Elevate Mobile Hotspot and more. The store also provides AT&T home solutions such as U-Verse television, Internet and voice services, as well as DirecTV, AT&T high-speed Internet and AT&T home phone.

Customers can also test drive various wireless data applications, including AT&T Navigator which provides GPS navigation with turn-by-turn directions, or AT&T Family Map, a family locator service designed to help give parents peace of mind.

The Frisco store is led by manager Brian Hayworth and assistant manager Ison Rocha along with a staff of 15 employees who are trained to assist both consumer and business customers with purchasing decisions, customer service and technical support.
