Henkel Sees the 'Big Picture' with AT&T Telepresence Solution

Henkel AG & Co KGaA operates worldwide with leading brands and technologies in three business areas: Laundry & Home Care, Cosmetics/Toiletries and Adhesive Technologies. Henkel is implementing unified communications and telepresence solutions from AT&T* to improve global collaboration between its employees, customers and suppliers in a three year agreement.
- Henkel, headquartered in Düsseldorf, employs about 47,000 people and is best known for Dial, Right Guard, Persil, Schwarzkopf, Pritt and Loctite brands.
- AT&T Telepresence Solution® will be deployed in eight key markets, including the US, Germany, China, Philippines, Slovakia, Austria, Mexico and Brazil.
- The new services build on the existing relationship between the companies, which has seen AT&T operate as Henkel’s lead global provider for its communications requirements.
Since 2011, Henkel has been using AT&T Connect® collaboration services and the acceleration of its telepresence deployment marks the latest phase in the development and evolution of Henkel’s unified communications strategy. The new contract will see AT&T Telepresence Solution deployed in 9 Henkel sites across the company’s global wide area network (WAN).
AT&T Telepresence Solution allows Henkel employees to have meetings across borders that can be set up spontaneously – without long planning and lead times – resulting in faster response times to solve business issues in key markets. AT&T Connect combined collaboration services enable users to exchange information between offices and to collaborate on documents and on key projects in real-time regardless of location or device.
