Dallas, Texas, April 03, 2013
With the continued focus of providing enterprises of all sizes with the highest quality solutions and services, AT&T* secured the highest rating for product score in use cases in a new report published by Gartner, Inc, “Critical Capabilities for U.S. Wireline Telecom Services”, which examines the relative capabilities of U.S. wireline telecommunication services providers.
The report evaluated eight network service providers, including AT&T, that offer telecommunication service for fixed, voice and/or data, and all variations for purchase and use by enterprises, against seven key areas of critical capabilities:
- MPLS Services
- SIP Trunking/IPTF/On-Net Voice
- Dedicated Internet
- Metro Private Line (SONET, Wavelength, Ethernet)
- Managed and Redundant Broadband
- Ethernet WAN
- Managed Routers
The report highlights several key differentiators customers should consider when assessing a carrier's ability to provide services directly to midsize and large enterprises, in single-service and multiservice WAN (i.e., blended or "hybrid") fashion.
