AT&T Receives Highest Rating in Gartner U.S. Wireless Telecom Services Report

Dallas, Texas, June 12, 2013

AT&T* received the highest rating among several use cases in a recent report by Gartner, Inc, “Critical Capabilities for U.S. Wireless Telecom Services[1]”, which evaluates the relative capabilities of U.S. wireless telecommunication services providers.  The report addresses several critical capabilities that play an important role in a carrier’s efforts to deliver enhanced mobility to businesses of all sizes.

AT&T received high product ratings based on several key categories associated with messaging, data connectivity, hosted mobile applications, M2M solutions, and international roaming.

The report examines these various differentiators across five separate use cases:

  • Overall
  • Largest Enterprise Cellular Only (Including International Roaming)
  • Midsize Enterprise Cellular Only (Domestic Focus)
  • Distributed Enterprise (Remote and Backup 3G or 4G)
  • Machine-to-Machine Solutions
