Atlanta, Georgia, July 12, 2013
With only a text, a toll free call, an online or mobile web vote, the life of one talented youngster will be changed forever thanks to audience voting powered by AT&T on Telemundo’s La Voz Kids. Touching the lives of millions of viewers and captivating celebrity music coaches and fans alike, the young contestants of La Voz Kids have entered into the critical and final phase of the competition.
Following the same innovative format of NBC’s highly rated musical phenomenon “The Voice”, La Voz Kids features three stages of competition: blind auditions, battle rounds, and finally, the live performance shows.
During the live performance shows, the top participants from each team will compete against each other in their journey to stardom. The television audience and the coaches will decide who will stay in the competition with viewers voting at the end of the live performance shows, sponsored by AT&T.
“We know U.S. Hispanics have an affinity for suspense and reality competition shows, in addition to having an emotional connection with their smartphones and tablets,” said Roberto Garcia, Executive Director of Hispanic Marketing at AT&T. “We wanted to give viewers the opportunity to use the devices and technology they love so much to make their votes count and their voices heard. We’re thrilled to be the exclusive voting partner of La Voz Kids.”
As the exclusive voting partner of La Voz Kids, AT&T is enabling viewers to vote in three different ways:
- By phone: by dialing the toll free numbers assigned to a contestant.
- Via SMS (for AT&T wireless customers only): by texting the word VOTA to the short code assigned to a contestant. Voters will receive a message confirming that their vote has been received. Message and data charges may apply.
- Online or Mobile Web (via Facebook ID): by visiting lavozkids.com/vota online or mobile web and voting using a Facebook ID. Voters may also vote via Facebook ID using the Zeebox App.

The award-winning songwriters, who recently wrapped up their successful and sold-out U.S. Tour, will take the stage of La Voz Kids during the critical phase of the competition.
