Share Our Strength Campaign
Help stop childhood hunger. Text SHARE to 20222 to donate $5 to the cause.
Full Story

Share Our Strength and AT&T, along with the Communications Workers of America and the AT&T Pioneers, are supporting two new initiatives in the fight against childhood hunger — a text-donation program and a nationwide AT&T employee food drive.
Share Our Strength is the leading national organization working to end childhood hunger in America.
Text Donation Program
Wireless phone users, including AT&T customers, can donate $5 to Share Our Strength by simply texting the word "SHARE" to 20222 on their mobile device.
Donations from the text program will help provide food for the 12.4 million children at risk of hunger in America and will help address the recent increase in demand for food aid across the nation.
AT&T Employees On Board for the Cause
In conjunction with the text-donation program, AT&T Pioneers — the industry's largest employee and retiree volunteer organization — led a nationwide AT&T employee food drive to benefit community food banks that serve America's children in 39 major metropolitan areas.
In less than two months, the AT&T Pioneers collected 25 tons — 50,000 pounds — of food. Along with a $100,000 contribution from AT&T, these goods and donations will provide more than 372,000 meals for children in need.
AT&T is continuing its participation in SOS's food donation efforts until the end of 2009 in response to higher food bank traffic nationwide.
