Continuing its tradition of industry leadership in broadband, SBC Communications Inc. (NYSE: SBC) today announced even more compelling values for residential customers who order SBC Yahoo! DSL over the Web, further driving the adoption of high-speed Internet access and giving cable Internet subscribers an even stronger reason to switch.
The limited-time-only price is now $14.95 a month (other monthly charges apply) with a 12-month term for new residential subscribers who order SBC Yahoo! DSL Express (384Kbps —1.5 Mbps) service online through www.sbc.com/sbcyahoo. The SBC Yahoo! DSL Pro (1.5Mbps — 3.0Mbps) service is available for those consumers who crave even more speed for only $24.99 a month for 12 months if they order online (other monthly charges apply).
The move is the latest SBC initiative designed to encourage customers to order SBC products and services online, as well as learn about new products and offers, view and pay their bill, manage their account and request service repairs over the Web.

The online residential customer offers for either SBC Yahoo! DSL Express (speeds of up to 1.5Mbps) or SBC Yahoo! DSL Pro service (with speeds of up to 3Mbps) include a $99 instant credit toward a $149 SBC Yahoo! DSL Wireless Home Networking kit, a $179 laptop home networking bundle, or a $99 DSL modem.
