AT&T Audio Conferencing Services Wins Customer Award from Frost and Sullivan

Emphasizing its leadership in audioconferencing, AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) announced today that AT&T TeleConference Services has received the 2006 Customer Value Enhancement Award from the research firm Frost & Sullivan for the telecommunication company's remarkable contribution to the North American Audio Conferencing Services Product Market.
Frost & Sullivan recognized AT&T's ability to offer exceptional value to customers and its capacity to efficiently assist companies of all sizes to improve audio collaboration. AT&T was also commended for its ability to expand its installed base at a time when the audioconferencing market is redefining itself with unified communications services, according to the research firm.

AT&T's audioconferencing services connect two or more people using traditional voice switched-circuit as well as the latest IP technology. Only a phone is required. AT&T offers customers three primary types of audioconferencing services, which participants can access using toll-free and caller-paid phone numbers:
- Reservationless. AT&T Reservationless Service is the most flexible, because it is "always available." It provides hosts with predetermined dial-in numbers (caller-paid and toll-free) and access codes. Hosts have conferences without making reservations. There are two primary versions: the popular Reservationless Automated Dial-In and Reservationless Operator Assisted Dial-In, which provides specialists to meet and greet participants as they dial in.
- Reservation-Based. Customers reserve conference calls by calling customer care or using the AT&T Internet Reservations System. Customers can also reserve recurring meetings that use the same dial-in phone numbers and access codes.
- Executive Service. AT&T Executive Service is a reservation-based audio and Web service targeted toward customers requiring larger teleconference meetings and high-profile events. A professional moderator can be requested to manage events for large gatherings, such as annual meetings, investor relations conferences, press conferences or all-employee meetings. Customers can choose from three Executive Service types: Executive, Premier and Event.
AT&T offers a large portfolio of Web and audioconferencing services to enable customers to conduct productive, virtual meetings any time of the day or night. Additionally, AT&T Global TeleConference Service is available for customers with large international participation with access from more than 59 countries around the world; AT&T Web conferencing services combine the best of AT&T audioconferencing and Web capabilities, allowing businesses to avoid extensive travel costs, decision-making delays and jet lag. AT&T videoconferencing services allows two or more sites to join the same pre-scheduled videoconference call at anytime and from anywhere — helping businesses to reduce travel costs and increasing collaboration among employees and suppliers.
