AT&T Announces New Contract with Responsys
Leading Provider of On-Demand E-Mail Solutions Enhances Technology Infrastructure With AT&T Solution

AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) today announced that Responsys, a premier provider of on-demand email and lifecycle marketing solutions, has signed a new contract with AT&T. Under the terms of the agreement, AT&T will provide Responsys with hosting, data and voice services. Based in Silicon Valley, Responsys is recognized as a market leader by both Forrester Research and JupiterResearch.
In addition to AT&T providing Responsys with customer premise equipment (CPE) products, hosting, private lines and voice and teleconferencing services, AT&T's hosting services provided to Responsys form the platform for a state-of-the-art data center to significantly enhance Responsys' technology infrastructure. Designed with security as a cornerstone, the new data center is highly redundant, and as part of its hosting services AT&T fully load balances the traffic, producing optimum performance and minimal down time for Responsys.
Responsys established its data center in August 2006 in the hosted space provided by AT&T in its San Jose Internet Data Center. Responsys plans to use the hosted space to deploy its Interact® 5.6 software which has features that will allow the company to meet the technological requirements of future product releases. The new infrastructure investment enables Responsys to offer faster data import, message compilation and e-mail throughput to its rapidly growing international customer base.
