AT&T eSales and Service Organization Wins Stevie Award for "Online Sales Team of the Year"
Selling Power Magazine and The Stevie Awards Recognize AT&T's Global Leadership and World-Class Customer Service

AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) today announced that its eSales and Service organization was presented with a Stevie Award for "Online Sales Team of the Year" at the 2006 Selling Power Sales Excellence Awards. The award recognizes AT&T's sales team for exceeding customer expectations with an unwavering commitment to innovation and customer support. The eSales and Service organization supports key AT&T products and services, including AT&T BusinessDirect®, the AT&T Business Center and the Small Business Storefront.
AT&T's eSales and Service organization collected the trophy this year for its proven ability to stay ahead of customers' needs, providing the highest-quality online service capabilities coupled with world-class training and customer support. In 2006, the team expanded globally; today it provides native-language training and customer support in all regions where AT&T provides service.
The new awards were jointly presented by Selling Power magazine, the leading sales management publication with 145,000 subscribers in 67 countries, and the Steve® Awards, which have been hailed as the "business world's own Oscars" by the New York Post (April 27, 2005).
Nicknamed the Stevies (for the Greek word "crowned"), winners were announced during a gala banquet at the Westin Casuarina Las Vegas Hotel, Casino & Spa on Monday, Dec. 4. More than 230 nominated sales executives from the around the world attended.
More than 300 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories this year.

Members of the Stevie Awards' board of distinguished judges and advisors and their staffs selected Stevie Award winners from among the finalists. Finalists were chosen by business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging.
The elegant Stevie trophy was designed by R. S. Owens & Company, the same company that designed and manufactures the Oscar® and the Emmy®.
