Fans to Call Upcoming Plays for the Chance to Win Prizes During AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic

Dallas, Texas, December 31, 2007

Top college football teams won't be the only ones competing during bowl season this year. AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) today announced an interactive way for college football fans to play along during the nationally televised AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic and the four BCS games airing on FOX.

Fans can log on to the AT&T blue room (http://www.attblueroom.com) or use their wireless phone from AT&T to register and compete in AT&T U Call the Play. Participants earn points and bonuses based on the accuracy of their predictions. They can track the standings for all players competing in AT&T U Call the Play by viewing the live leader board online and on their mobile phone.

Participants will have the chance to win prizes during the 72nd AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic by correctly predicting the offensive plays called for each team. Top-scoring participants in each quarter have a chance to win prizes, including mp3 players, plasma televisions, and digital cameras. All participants are also automatically entered in a game-long sweepstakes for additional prizes.

Fans who use their wireless phone from AT&T to participate during the AT&T Cotton Bowl can activate the program by texting COTTON to 386. For the remaining BCS games on FOX, text BCS to 386.

"AT&T is thrilled to bring a high-tech interactive component to the college football bowl game experience," said Eric Fernandez, executive director, AT&T Sponsorships and Events. "The U Call the Play contest adds to the long list of game innovations."

The AT&T U Call the Play contest is one of several AT&T college football programs, including AT&T World's Loudest Pep Rally featuring Dave Matthews Band, AT&T Mascot Mail, AT&T All-America Player of the Week and the AT&T College Football Technology Tailgate Tour.
