Liberty Travel Extends Contract with AT&T for Enhanced Data and Network Services

Bedminster, New Jersey, January 14, 2008

AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) today announced an extended and expanded contract with Lib/Go Travel, Liberty Travel and GOGO Worldwide Vacations, a leading travel company. Under the new three-year contract, AT&T will implement and manage Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS)-enabled network services — along with network resiliency solutions — for Liberty's 230-plus retail locations. The contract extends a six-year relationship between AT&T and Liberty Travel.

Using advanced MLPS technology, AT&T's Virtual Private Network (VPN) services will integrate Liberty Travel's entire base of wholesale and retail agencies under one common Internet Protocol (IP)-based architecture. As a result, Liberty Travel and its customers will benefit from improved network performance, enhanced ease of use and increased network security. Designed to provide consistency across a large network, the upgrade will help prioritize network traffic and streamline data transmission throughout Liberty Travel's managed and unmanaged locations.
