Deutsch Signs Global Network Services Contract with AT&T

New York, New York, February 25, 2008

AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) has announced that Deutsch, a multinational electronics corporation, has signed a new two-year agreement for AT&T's Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) Virtual Private Network (VPN) service. The service will link Deutsch's facilities in the U.S., Germany, Italy, India, Japan, Mexico, Israel and the U.K.

In order to achieve its goal of becoming a global company, Deutsch sought a common network platform for various applications, such as e-mail, data sharing, video conferencing and phone systems. The AT&T VPN solution will be deployed across 15 company sites and will allow them to be linked together regardless of location, application or time zone.

Once the AT&T VPN solution is fully deployed, Deutsch plans to introduce Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services, such as local and international calling, mobile call routing, telecommuting, centralized Internet access, video streaming, virus control, content-filtering and spam management.

"We are very pleased AT&T customized a solution that is reliable and consistent," said Sylvio Duguay, chief information officer at Deutsch. "It's this type of superior network services and support that solidified our relationship with AT&T."

Through the secure AT&T BusinessDirect® portal, Deutsch has around-the-clock access to real-time information about the performance of its network services and a direct connection to electronic billing and ordering systems. Additionally, AT&T currently provides local and long distance voice, Internet access and private lines to Deutsch.

The expanded business agreement renews and extends a long-standing relationship between the two companies that spans more than 10 years.
