AT&T Wins Four ATLANTIC-ACM 2008 U.S. Wholesale Carrier Excellence Awards

AT&T, Inc. (NYSE:T) today announced that AT&T received four 2008 U.S. Wholesale Carrier Excellence Awards from ATLANTIC-ACM, a Boston-based industry-research consultancy. The awards, which are based on customer feedback, were presented on Monday afternoon at the COMPTEL PLUS Spring 2008 Convention and Expo.

AT&T won awards in the following categories:

  • Brand
  • Network Performance (tie)
  • Voice Product Quality
  • Data Product Quality

"AT&T consistently receives high marks from customers, and this is the third time in the last five years that they have won an award for their domestic long-haul network," said Fedor Smith, vice president of ATLANTIC-ACM. The awards are based on the results of the 2008 edition of ATLANTIC-ACM’s U.S. Wholesale Carrier Report Card, which evaluates the performance of wholesale carriers in key delivery areas from ratings by their resale customers. The Wholesale Carrier Report Card analyzes customer feedback in the traditional wholesale telecommunications market as well as in emerging technologies. This comprehensive research provides clients with a broad range of diagnostic, benchmarking and marketing tools.
