Dover Corporation to Implement AT&T Services Across Organization

Dover Corporation (NYSE: DOV), a multi-billion dollar global portfolio of manufacturing companies providing innovative components and equipment, is working with AT&T* (NYSE: T) to unify and amplify communications services throughout its entire network of operating companies. Under a new five-year contract, Dover will implement a bundled package of AT&T’s voice, unified communications and mobility services to support the organization’s complete overhaul of its corporate telecommunications strategy, which will centralize services across its portfolio of 35 reporting units in the industrial products, engineered systems, fluid management and electronic technologies industries.

Specifically, Dover will transition current conferencing systems onto AT&T Connect®, which integrates Web, video and voice conferencing onto one company-wide platform, allowing employees throughout Dover’s operating network to attend meetings from around the world, even through their mobile phones. Using this primary IP-based unified communications platform for on-demand, real-time conferencing, Dover and its operating companies will be able to augment inter-office collaboration and simplify training processes.
Meanwhile, using AT&T’s global Wide Area Network (WAN) solution, AT&T Managed Internet Service (MIS) and AT&T voice and mobility services, Dover’s employees and operating companies will have the ability to stay connected to colleagues, partners and customers as needed through virtually any device or platform on AT&T’s network.
Through the AT&T BusinessDirect® Portfolio, AT&T’s award-winning Web portals, Dover Corporation can perform a multitude of highly secure network management and administrative tasks for their bundled package of services.
