Sydney, Australia — AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) has announced a sponsorship of the APEC Australia 2007™ Business Summit, which will be held Sept. 6 - 7 in Sydney.

This two-day forum brings together business and political leaders from the 21 Member Economies to examine some of the key issues facing the region, including regional economic integration, clean energy and energy security, trade facilitation measures, and climate change. "As a significant part of APEC Economic Leaders Week, the APEC Australia 2007™ Business Summit is a key driver of a collaborative approach between business and government. We are pleased to be part of this unique opportunity. The theme this year — "Strengthening our community, building a sustainable future" — reflects AT&T's plans for the region, where we have been established for over 25 years," he continued.
