AT&T 4G LTE Continues to Expand

AT&T has launched the nation’s fastest 4G LTE network in Santa Cruz-Watsonville and Ventura-Oxnard, Calif.; Outer Banks, NC; and Anderson, SC.  AT&T 4G LTE service also expanded today in parts of Denver, New York City and Tallahassee.

  • AT&T customers get the nation’s largest 4G network, which covers more than 292 million people.
  • AT&T 4G LTE is now live in 228 markets.
  • Over 90 percent of AT&T's mobile data traffic now runs over enhanced backhaul that supports both HSPA+ and 4G LTE data traffic.
  • AT&T 4G LTE is expected to cover 300 million people by year-end 2014.
