Welcome to AT&T!
As you know, your Alltel wireless service is transitioning to AT&T. We want to welcome you to the AT&T
family.
This page contains important information related to your service transition to AT&T.
Selecting Your Replacement Phone
Selecting Your Replacement Phone
The period for selecting your new FREE replacement AT&T phone or data device has ended.
If you placed an order, we will ship your selected FREE replacement phone or data device to you in the coming weeks.
If you did not place an order for a FREE replacement phone or data device, we will select and ship you a FREE replacement phone or data device comparable to the one you have today to ensure that you do not experience an interruption in your wireless service when it transitions to AT&T.
AT&T will send a text message and/or a prerecorded message to your current wireless and/or home phone informing you when your order has shipped. AT&T will send an additional text message and/or a prerecorded message to your current wireless and/or home phone telling you when your service will transition to AT&T.
If after receiving your new FREE replacement phone or data device you decide that you want to exchange it for another one, you may do so after your service transition to AT&T. You have 30 days from the service transition date to exchange at no cost for a different but comparable phone or data device. Or you may choose to upgrade to one of AT&T's innovative phones and data devices like the Apple® iPhone®1.
See the Quick Start Guide included in your order shipment for information about returns, exchanges, and warranty. Please note that you will not be able to exchange your new phone or data device until your service transitions to AT&T.

Prepaid Customers
Alltel prepaid service will transition to AT&T beginning December 2010 and continuing through late May 2011. As a former Alltel customer, you are eligible for significant discounts on the price of select new phones when you move your prepaid account to AT&T. Learn more about the prepaid phones available to you.
Keep your account balance and phone number
We want to make this transition as easy as possible for you. If you move to AT&T's GoPhone prepaid service before your service transition date, you will be able to keep your current phone number. Additionally, any remaining balance on your old prepaid account will be transferred to your new GoPhone account.
If you do not move to AT&T, your current prepaid service will stop working on your service transition date and you will lose your phone number. You will be eligible for reimbursement of any remaining balance on your current prepaid account. After the service transition date, you may contact AT&T and request a reimbursement for the remaining balance.
AT&T will not be able to transfer or reimburse the balance on any unused prepaid cards or PINs. If you have an unused prepaid card or PIN, you must add those funds to your account before your service transitions to AT&T.
