Answer Tones™ Terms & Conditions
Terms Applicable to Eligible Post-Paid Service Customers:
There is a $0.99 monthly fee for the Answer Tones service regardless of the number of Answer Tones (if any) you order. Charges for Answer Tones ordered are additional to this monthly service fee. Taxes may apply to the Answer Tone and/or monthly service charge. Once you subscribe to the Answer Tones service, it will continue on a month-to-month basis until you notify AT&T of cancellation by calling 1-800-331-0500 or dial 611 on your wireless handset.
Terms Applicable to GoPhone Customers:
There is a $1.00 per Answer Tone delivery charge for each Answer Tone ordered. The delivery charge is in addition to the charge for the Answer Tone. There is no monthly charge for GoPhone customers.
Terms Applicable to All Customers:
Answer Tones service requires GSM service on an eligible voice plan. Answer Tones are subject to expiration as disclosed in the Answer Tone selection process. Please note that certain rights holders in the Answer Tones content have the right to withdraw availability of Answer Tones, even after they have been ordered and are being used by AT&T subscribers. Normal data transport charges apply to ordering, set-up and maintenance of Answer Tones through Mobile Internet, but no data transport charges apply to your use of Answer Tones. If the calling party's phone number is not recognized by the Answer Tones service (including, because the number is blocked), the caller will hear a default tone. You may only assign specific Answer Tones to callers with numbers in the North American numbering plan. Answer Tone content is protected, copyrighted material and may only be used by you for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, download, sell, re-sell, distribute, store or forward any Answer Tone, or use Answer Tones for any promotional purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
