Wireless Gateway

The AT&T U-verse Wireless Gateway is an intelligent device that brings
together all your TV, Internet and Voice U-verse services and distributes
them throughout your home. The Wireless Gateway lets you watch TV
while you:

Get personalized weather, sports, and stock information
Share photos or stream music
Initiate a phone call with your remote

The Wireless Gateway enables wireless networking capabilities
throughout your home and is powerful enough to help eliminate wireless
dead spots. With encryption security, you can safeguard against outside
access of your Internet connection. In addition, the Wireless Gateway
provides Ethernet ports for wired LAN connections.

U-verse TV Installation

Professional standard installation³ is included with most plans.

Getting Ready

To get everything ready for your U-verse TV installation:

Check your appointment day and time and make sure it's at
a convenient time. If you need to reschedule, please try to make the
change at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time.
If you rent or lease your home, make sure you get the owner's
consent
Make sure the paths to outlets and jacks are clear of furniture
Only cancel your current cable TV service after U-verse is installed
Plan for about 4 hours of installation time and make sure someone
over 18 years of age will be there during the installation

Your U-verse TV Order

To check the status of your order or your installation appointment, wait
24 hours after you place the order, then go to the Order Status Tool. It
will give you information on installation date and time, technician arrival
status, and shipping and tracking.

If you placed your order online, you'll receive emails from AT&T with
information about your order confirmation, account number, and
installation appointment time.

If your order is eligible for rewards or rebates, check the AT&T Rewards
Center to claim them.

Installation

On the day of your U-verse Installation:

Your technician will call to give you an estimated time of arrival
The technician will review your order to make sure everything is
correct
Basic testing will be performed to make sure U-verse can be installed
at your address
The technician will work with you to find the best place for your
Wireless Gateway
Installation is not complete until the technician makes sure that
everything is working correctly

Connecting your High Definition (HD) Service

To enjoy U-verse in HD⁴, you'll need:

A high definition television (HDTV)
An HD receiver
HDMI cable, HDMI-to-DVI conversion with audio cable, or component
cable for each receiver that will be connected to an HDTV
