Resolving Basic TV Issues

  • Reset your receiver. Try this first, since it will resolve many common TV issues. To reset, hold down the POWER button on the front of the receiver for 10 seconds.
  • Access help on your TV. Press the MENU button on your remote, then select Help>Troubleshoot & Resolve and select your specific issue from the options listed.
  • Watch Picture and Sound Troubleshooting for instructions for solving common U-verse TV issues.
  • Watch other tutorials from channel 411 on your U-verse TV or visit the U-verse Help Videos page online.
  • How to retrieve messages on your U-verse TV:

- Press Menu on your U-verse remote control.

- Scroll right to the Help menu.

- Scroll down to the Message Center.

- Select OK to review recent on-screen messages.
