What is it?

Fiber optics is glass or plastic hair thin threads that deliver data over a network. The threads are bound tightly together and use waves of light to transmit the data.

Advantages

There are many advantages using Fiber Optics:

  • Fiber optics carry more bandwidth than traditional metal
