Restoring contacts ensures you don't lose phone numbers, email addresses, and personal details when changing phones, recovering from lost or damaged devices, or undoing accidental deletions.

From the Settings app, tap on your google account.

Tap All services.

Scroll to and tap Restore contacts in the Backup & restore section.

Tap Restore on the device you'd like to restore contacts from.
To avoid duplicates, your phone restores only contacts it doesn't have already have. Your restored contacts also sync to your current Google Account and other devices.
