The Assistant Menu allows you access your device's hardware buttons and trigger gesture-based actions by tapping buttons on the screen.

From the Settings app, scroll to Accessibility.

Tap Accessibility.
3.
Tap Interaction and dexterity.
4.
Tap Assistant menu.
5.
Tap Select Assistant menu items.
6.
Tap the Plus icon to add an item.
7.
Tap the Back icon.
8.
Tap the Assistant menu switch to ON.
9.
Tap Allow.
