Take a Picture with the RIM BlackBerry Torch 9800 using Handheld Software Version 6.0

Take a picture

1. On the Home screen, open the All tray, then scroll to and select the Camera icon  (to select, press the trackpad or tap the screen).
2. Aim the camera lens at the desired target.
         
     
3. Scroll up or down with the trackpad to zoom in or out.  Press the trackpad to capture the image.
     
     
4. Scroll to and select one of the following options:
     
•  Take another picture
•  Delete picture

Configure camera options

1. On the Home screen, open the All tray, then scroll to and select the Camera icon  (to select, press the trackpad or tap the screen).
2. Press the Menu key, then select Options.
     
     
3. The "Camera Options" screen will be displayed.
     
     
4. In the following fields, then scroll to and select the desired option.
   

   Field	Description	Default
   Digital Zoom	Enable or disable the digital zoom feature.	Checked
   Picture Review	Set the length of time that a picture remains in view before returning to the Camera application.	3 seconds
   Image Size	Set the image capture resolution. NOTE: Higher resolution pictures are more detailed, but require more memory for storage.	Large (2592 x 1944)
   Set Convenience Keys	Configure the convenience key.	Camera
   Warn when pictures remaining drops to	Configure alert for remaining pictures.	50
   Store Pictures	Set the default picture storage location.	On Device

      
5. Press the Menu key, then select Save.
