Turn Bluetooth On or Off with the RIM BlackBerry Torch 9810

1. If Bluetooth has been setup on the device, from the home screen, select the Connections area.
    
    
2. Select the Bluetooth checkbox.
   NOTE: A checkmark in the box indecates that Bluetooth in active.
      
• If Bluetooth has not been setup on the device, from the home screen, open the All tray, and then select .  
1. Select Bluetooth.
   NOTE: If necessary, select the Bluetooth drop-down menu, and then select On.
    
     
2. Select the Discoverable drop-down menu, then then select desired.
   NOTE: Selecting Yes leaves the device in a permanent discoverable state which may impact battery life. 
    
      
3. Select Add New Device. 
   NOTE: Or select from the saved devices to connect.
    
     
4. Verify the other Bluetooth device is ready to pair, and then select Search if pairing with mobile accessories, or Listen if pairing with a PC or Mac.
   NOTE: If further assistance is needed, please contact the Bluetooth hardware manufacturer. 
    
     
5. The device will search for available Bluetooth devices.  
6. Select the desired Bluetooth device to pair with.
    
     
7. If required, enter the passkey for the Bluetooth enabled device on your device. The pairing of devices will complete.
