A USB cable compatible with the RIM BlackBerry Torch 9810.
Procedure
Verify the device indicates that wireless data service is available.
Connect the computer to the Internet:
NOTE: If connecting via a Dial-up Networking connection, verify BlackBerry Desktop Software is open and shows the status "Connected" prior to setting up the connection.
Using AT&T Communication Manager: AT&T Communication Manager is AT&T's all-in-one connection client, designed to seamlessly connect a computer to the Internet through the handset's wireless data connection. Communication Manager can also be used to connect to thousands of AT&T Wi-Fi Basic Hotspots free of charge.
Using a Dial-up Networking connection via Microsoft Windows: A Dial-up Networking (DUN) connection uses the operating system's built in networking client to establish a connection to the internet. A DUN connection cannot be used to connect to an AT&T Wi-Fi Basic Hotspot as the technologies are incompatible.
