Manage Email Accounts with the RIM BlackBerry Torch 9810


Instructions

  1. On the home screen, open the All tray, and then select .
  2. Press the Menu key, and then select Options.
     
      
  3. Select Email Account Management.
     
      
  4. Select the desired account.
     
      
  5. Select the desired option:
     
    • Filters: Add a filter to the account.
    • Delete: Delete the account.
    • Edit: Edit the account.

Change the Default Sending Service
IMPORTANT: A RIM BlackBerry device will not use the default service book when replying to an email. In this situation, the email address that received the orignal message will override the default sending service.  Two or more email accounts must be configured to change the default sending service.

  1. On the home screen, open the  All tray, and then select Options.
  2. Select Device.
  3. Select  Advanced System Settings.
  4. Select  Default Services.
  5. Select the "Messaging (CMIME)" field.
  6. Select the desired email service.
    NOTE: BlackBerry Enterprise Server or Desktop Redirector email will be displayed as "Desktop" or "BlackBerry".
  7. Press the Menu key, and then select Save.
