Lock the Device

1. From the standby screen, select Menu.
   
   
   
2. Select Settings.
   
   
   
3. Select Security.
   
   
   
4. Select Activate security codes.
   
   
   
5. Select Phone lock code.
   
   
   
6. Select On.
   
   
   
7. Enter the Phone Lock Code, then select OK.
   NOTE: The Default Phone Lock Code is 0000.
   
   

Unlock the Device

1. The device will request the phone lock code. Enter the current phone lock code, then select OK.
   NOTE: The phone lock code is the user-defined password from the above solution; if no Phone Lock Code has been set by the User, the Default Phone Lock Code is 0000.
   
   
   

Activate/Deactivate PIN Check
NOTE: The SIM PIN is a 4- to 8-digit code used to prevent the unauthorized use of a SIM card.

1. From the standby screen, select Menu.
   
   
   
2. Select Settings.
   
   
   
3. Select Security.
   
   
   
4. Select Activate security codes.
   
   
   
5. Select PIN Code.
   
   
   
6. Select On.
   
   
   
7. Enter the current PIN code, then select OK.
   NOTE: The default PIN is 1111.
