Sideload (Transfer Music) from a Personal Computer (PC) to a AT&T Z331

AT&T Z331 Keypad Layout

  • Windows 2000 or later
  • Not compatible with Mac OS X
  • A microSD card (sold separately)
  • USB data cable
  • Ensure that music is in a compatible format
  • Windows Media Digital Rights Management (WMDRM) PC client
Transfer music

  1. Open your Windows Media Digital Rights Management (WMDRM) PC client.
  2. Use the USB adapter cable to connect the handset to your PC.
  3. When an active connection has been established, a USB icon appears on the phone.
  4. Go to Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Select USB Mode > Mass Storage / Media Player.
  5. Once the USB connection has been established, the handset displays Connected and the computer screen shows the device.
  6. Right click on the song located on the computer and select Copy.
  7. Open the removable disk drive corresponding to the microSD card location on the phone.
  8. Open the music folder you wish to upload to on the handset.
  9. Right click and select Paste.
  10. Test by playing a music file.
