Insert or Remove the Battery with the RIM BlackBerry Torch 9810

Instructions

  1. If removing the battery, turn the device off by pressing and holding until the "Powering Off" message displays.
    NOTE: Alternatively, open the All tray, and then select .
  2. Remove the back cover by pressing down on the BlackBerry logo and pushing downward.
     
     
  3. Slide the battery in so that the gold contacts of the battery match up with the gold contacts of the device and press down.
    NOTE: If removing the battery, pull forward from the slot on the right side of the battery.
     
     
  4. Replace the back cover by aligning the battery cover along the side rails on the back of the device and pushing upward until it locks into place.
  5. Turn the device on by pressing .
