When Wi-Fi is on, your device will automatically connect to any AT&T Wi-Fi hotspots, or saved wireless networks in range.

  1. Verify that Wi-Fi is turned on.
NOTE: When in range of a Wi-Fi network, tap the Wi-Fi networks available notification on the Start screen to select a network.
  2. Tap the desired network to connect.
NOTE: Flick to and tap Advanced to add a hidden network or change settings.
    • If prompted to enter the network password, enter the password, and then tap Done.
NOTE: Secure networks will be listed with "secure" under its name.
  3. When the connection is complete, the network (SSID) will display "connected".

If unable to connect

  1. Verify the password (if applicable) is typed correctly.
  2. Turn Wi-Fi off, and then back on.
  3. Power your phone off, and then back on.
  4. Using the steps above, attempt to connect to the network again.
