Update & verify software

To update the software
  1. Make sure your device is sufficiently charged and connected to Wi-Fi.
  2. Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the Settings icon.
  3. Tap the General tab.
  4. Tap About phone > Software Update > Update Now.
  5. Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the update.
  6. The device automatically restarts once the new software successfully installs.

To verify the update
  1. Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the Settings icon.
  2. Tap the General tab.
  3. Tap About phone > Software Info.
  4. The device has the latest software if the Android version, Software version, and Baseband version match the current update details.
