Insert SIM card and battery

This article describes how to insert the SIM card and battery. The SIM card accesses the wireless network and is often pre-installed.

INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
  1. Slide the back cover down towards the bottom of the phone to remove it.

  2. Slide a fingernail into the notch between the battery and the right side of the battery compartment, then gently pull upwards. Set the battery aside and  wait 30 seconds.

  3. Slide the SIM card into the SIM slot, with the gold contacts facing down and the notch facing into the phone.

  4. Place the battery in the battery compartment with the Plus and Minus icons in the bottom right corner, then slide the battery into the compartment until it falls into place.

  5. Place the back cover over the battery compartment and slide it up towards the top of the phone to lock it into place.
