The DIRECTV™ PROTECTION PLAN offers complete DIRECTV® system protection, plus an upgrade to the latest equipment every 2 years. This plan covers all your DIRECTV® receivers, remote controls, connection/switches, dish antenna, wiring/switches, and dish antenna alignment. It includes 24/7 technical support and on-site repairs plus the cost associated with replacing defective equipment. So if your receiver or any other DIRECTV device stops working as expected for any covered reason, we’ll troubleshoot, repair, or replace it.
DIRECTV™ PROTECTION PLAN PREMIER offers protection for all your favorite entertainment devices, plus an upgrade to the latest DIRECTV equipment every 2 years. This plan covers your entire DIRECTV® System, including all your receivers, remote controls, dish antenna, dish antenna realignment, and associated cabling and switches. Plus it covers an unlimited number of devices you use to enjoy DIRECTV, such as home theater systems, laptops, TVs, routers, and modems.
Covered TVs: LCD TVs, plasma TVs, and LED TVs. They can be any brand, model, or size.
Covered computers: PC computers equipped with Windows XP or newer operating system; Apple computers equipped with Mac OS X or newer operating system; and other computers equipped with Linux OS with 2009 publication date or later.
Covered tablets: iPad® 2, iPad® Mini, iPad® Air, and Android™ tablets version 1.6 or newer.
Also included in coverage: technical support on mobile phones as it relates to your DIRECTV viewing experience; 3D glasses.
If any device stops working as expected for any covered reason, we’ll troubleshoot, repair, or replace it.

While DIRECTV™ PROTECTION PLAN PREMIER may be canceled by you for any reason, an administrative fee of ten dollars ($10.00) will be assessed if the plan is cancelled during the first year of coverage.

** Your product will be fixed and shipped back to you within 3 business days of receiving it at the repair facility or, for in-home service, we will have an authorized technician in your home within 3 business days of your initial claim call. In the event we are unable to fulfill the 3-business-day service guarantee, we will refund you the cost of the Service Fee. Service Fee refunds for Repair Facility repairs will be generated upon completion of the repair. For In-Home repairs, the refund will be generated upon customer request. The Repair Facility guarantee does not include shipping/transit time. The In-Home Repair guarantee does not apply when parts need to be ordered.
^Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH) coverage provides your laptops and tablets with protection from mishaps such as unintentional and unexpected spills, drops, and cracked screens as a result of normal use.
Covered with DIRECTVTM PROTECTION PLAN: All active DIRECTV® Receivers – shipping and handling costs for replacement receivers for customers outside of the first 90 days of initial activation – remote controls, dish antenna, wiring, connectors, switches, and dish antenna realignment. NOTE: This plan offers protection against manufacturer defects, including those due to normal wear and tear, and against unintentional and accidental damage from handling.
Covered with DIRECTVTM PROTECTION PLAN PREMIER: Unlimited number of other entertainment devices. NOTE: A $50 service fee applies when a repair or replacement is required on TVs, computers, laptops or tablets. There is a $2000 per claim limit and a $6000 claim limit per 12-month period.
