Great Deal

I have had this phone for a few weeks. I think the battery life could be much improved, as I used to use a Motorola Q9h that only needed recharging once a week, compared to this device, which requires daily recharging. It is easy to use, has great speaker quality, and a high quality screen. I think the device should have more built-in memory, as I have downloaded less than 10 apps from BlackberryAppWorld and my device is almost out of space. I did insert a 2gb micro SD card. There doesn't seem to be a way to store the apps on the micro though, so this is a disappointment. I was able to do so with my MotoQ. The camera takes nice pictures. The earphones and case that are included are a great bonus. I received the white version, it's very attractive. I got compliments on how nice it looks, from coworkers.

One Of My Favorites!

Although I've had many a cellphone, some good, some bad, I have fallen in love with my BlackBerry Bold 9000!!! At first I was a little nervous with all this technology in my hand. As I started venturing into all that this phone does, I rarely even use my desktop pc or my landline phone that much anymore. I guess the only problem(s) I've noticed is the volume could be a little louder, the battery life and from time to time it freezes up on me. Other than that I'm sold! Can't wait 'til my contract is over to upgrade to the next family of BlackBerries.... I'm hooked!!!

Great for a first BlackBerry

I've been using touch screen phones for the past three years and was very hesitant to transition back to a keypad phone, especially one with such small keys. I love this BlackBerry. It is incredibly frustrating for the first day or two, I couldn't figure out emails or internet or anything, but after messing around with it I finally figured everything out (well, mostly everything).
The battery life isn't as awful as everyone makes it out to be. While it does drain fairly quickly (maybe 36 hours if you don't touch a thing, and if you play with it nonstop maybe 8-12) it charges incredibly fast. I had no battery for the first time today and it charged in 90 minutes to full. Amazing!
I also love that it comes with a holster and headphones, which saves a pretty good chunk of money.
Its great for texting, display colors are bright and vivid, but doesn't show low quality videos well at all. Theres also a lot of apps for it which is nice, I love that you can sync it with iTunes.
Its definitely worth the refurb price, I would absolutely buy again!
