AT&T Announces Availability of Super-Fast 5G+ Service at AT&T Center
AT&T’s launch of 5G+ means new experiences for sports fans and concert goers
What’s the news? We’re taking the fan experience at Spurs games to the next level! AT&T just launched its 5G+ service at the AT&T Center. 5G+ is our name for 5G delivered using millimeter wave spectrum. That means the Spurs players won’t be the only ones putting up unprecedented performances and fast speeds. AT&T 5G+ capabilities, including speeds up to 1 Gbps. will help transform the way fans experience sports and concerts.
Why is this important? AT&T customers with a 5G-enabled device and a qualifying plan will now have access to both of AT&T’s flavors of 5G inside the AT&T Center – our nationwide 5G service delivered via low-band spectrum and the performance of even faster 5G+. So, if you’re at a Spurs game and just shot video of you and your friends going crazy in the stands after an epic buzzer-beater, you can upload that to social media using 5G+ while still downloading stats, player profiles and other in-game enhancements.
